Talking with the public -- and to others who can tell your story to the public -- is a much different conversation.
We’ll go over why it’s important to talk with the public and how to do it (and not do it) through storytelling.

I’ve been a science writer since 1995, starting as a newspaper reporter. Since 2000 I’ve promoted academic research, mostly through national news media stories, for several universities— Vanderbilt, UNC Chapel Hill and UAB.
