The global COVID-19 pandemic is a life event that impacts everyone, but everyone is not affected the same way. How is that possible?
Clemson University’s Division of Inclusion and Equity is launching a series of virtual workshops to help faculty, staff, and graduate students explore the COVID-19 crisis from various perspectives in an effort to better navigate change associated with the virus.
The workshops are designed to examine the impact of the pandemic, and how a host of communities, differentiated by status, socioeconomics, health, age, gender, and religion, are affected.
Crisis often moves society forward. This moment gives us an opportunity to reflect, collaborate, and innovate in ways that foster more inclusive and equitable cultures and systems. Post-COVID-19 recovery will require the collective networks, capacities, knowledge, and skills of our organizations.
Together, we will explore ways to apply equitable and inclusive leadership practices while navigating COVID-19.
