She is currently in her third year of her Ph.D. in Engineering and Science Education (ESED).

Mrs. Sarah Otterbeck (she, her) is a Graduate Research Assistant with the Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation (OTEI) as well as a Doctoral Candidate in the Engineering and Science Education (ESED) department here at Clemson. Having received her M.S. in Mathematical and Statistical Sciences in May 2021 from Clemson Sarah brings a STEM background to her work in OTEI and ESED. Her current research interests are in understanding the gender inequity within service responsibilities of faculty as well as inclusive engagement strategies for the classroom.
